RED BANK, NJ – A Red Bank family dental office has added a board certified periodontist to treat patients struggling with periodontal disease.
Dr. Kenneth Gluck joined Dr. Denise DiBona’s dental team this summer. As a periodontist, Dr. Gluck provides periodontal maintenance, periodontal surgery, extractions and bone grafting. Periodontal disease, also known as gum disease, is the most prevalent oral health problem and the leading cause of tooth loss in adults.
“Gum disease is a severe medical issue that can have negative effects on your overall health, so patients with gum issues need access to the best care if they want to keep a healthy mouth,” Dr. DiBona said. “Our patients appreciate Dr. Gluck’s calm, caring demeanor, and our team has been enjoying his humor and good-natured personality.”
Dr. Gluck, originally from New York, earned his dental degree and certificate of periodontics from New Jersey Dental School. He also was the chief resident of the periodontal department at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey. Dr. Gluck is a diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology and he works at Rutgers School of Dental Medicine as a part-time associate clinical professor.
Dr. Gluck is available to treat patients at Dr. DiBona’s Red Bank dental office every month.
“Aside from the convenience of not having to go to a different office, our patients can reap the
benefits of a true ‘team approach’ of doctors and staff, working closely together to provide an
individualized co-diagnosis with seamless coordination of appointments and treatment,” Dr. DiBona said.
Dr. DiBona, originally from Brooklyn, New York, has been in practice for almost 30 years. Dr. DiBona offers general dentistry, restorative dentistry, Invisalign, snoring and sleep apnea devices, same-day emergency care and even dental implants. She uses dental implants to replace individual missing teeth and mini dental implants to stabilize dentures.
Dr. DiBona’s Red Bank dental office includes the latest technology and amenities to keep her patients comfortable during their visits. She uses air abrasion, a dental technique that can remove tooth decay without the use of shots or drilling; Panorex digital X-ray machine; and intraoral cameras to take pictures of teeth, gums and the oral cavity to educate patients about dental procedures and proper oral hygiene.
Dr. DiBona graduated fifth in her class at Stony Brook University School of Dental Medicine and completed a General Practice Residency at Monmouth Medical Center. She was the valedictorian of her high school and graduated magna cum laude from New York University. She is certified in Invisalign, dental implants and Botox and dermal fillers.
Dr. DiBona is dedicated to giving back to her community. She participates in Dentistry From The Heart, a program that provides a free day of dentistry to uninsured or underinsured members of the community; and has an annual Halloween candy buy-back event. She also supports breast cancer awareness organizations and the New York–based nonprofit Smile Train, which provides corrective surgery for children with cleft lips and palates.
Dr. DiBona received the New Jersey Top Dentist Award for 2014, 2015 and 2016.
